Laying of the Bricks Campaign |
|
The Scotland County Recreation Foundation is starting a campaign to build a Children’s Plaza at the new James L. Morgan Recreation Complex and fund the continued expansion of the facilities. The campaign is called “A Walk in the Park”. Jim Morgan, Campaign Chairman, is proud that he and his family are involved in this project and invites the community to join in this campaign for the children of Scotland County. It’s not only a great way to help support the community, but a memorable way to honor a family or loved one. Scotland County is selling bricks ranging in price from $100 to $350. Each brick purchased will be used to build the Children’s Plaza and will proudly display text, names and even company logos, all dependent upon your level of donation. Those who purchase a brick in advance will be invited to participate in the first official “Laying of the Bricks” ceremony to be held on September 13, 2009. So don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to support your community as well as commemorate an important person in your life. You can order a brick at Scotland Place, 1210 Turnpike Road or on-line at www.bricksrus.com/order/walkinthepark. For more information see the Laying of the Bricks link. ? |
